And here I had my dream team: double Lepers, Jester and Occultist. Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.Let me give you something to smile at and tell you the story of my 'lepery ways' (<- name of the estate)Įncouraged by youtuber 'filthyrobot' and his undervalueing the leper I started a bloodmoon playthrough - with DLC and everything - with the intention of building up double-leper teams. I escape and have 1680 gold in my coffers. Next Wilbur squeals at them, hits both, and neither saves Death Door check. Long story slightly less long: Swine God with -120% damage debuff critted my front row for 18 and 24 damage, which brought them to death's door. A boss fight will yield enough gold anyway. I had been careless in the weapon purchases, and after I bought supplies, I noticed I only had 35 gold in bank. ![]() Just a moment ago I thought I'd go and single-handedly beat Swine God. But it mattered not, since I am such a good player. Soon after I unlocked the last tier of weapons, too, and now I started running low on cash. And I have never done the "hire newbie party, abuse for one dungeon, kick them out" thingy for cash. I dare say my town management was altogether superior - the instant I unlocked last tier of armors in the blacksmith, I had enough cash to buy everyone armor upgrade. Sure, I lost a hero now and then, but those were because of the mistakes I made, or because I was too cocky and thought I'd be able handle, like, whatever since I'm such a good DD player. ![]() I even challenged myself by making otherwise well prepared runs, but with terrible party compositions. I'm on of those who have been saying that DD seems almost a bit too easy once you know how the mechanics work and know how to prepare for challenges accordingly.
